Georgia Teen Arrested For Shooting 4 Teens, Killing 1 At After Prom Party

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged a 17-year-old for a shooting at an after-prom party that happened early Sunday.

The teen is accused of shooting four teens, one fatally.

The teen is charged with one crime of felony murder, three charges of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.

Chyell Paulk, 15, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, was killed in the gunfire. A 19-year-old and two minors were injured.

The Fitzgerald Police Department made a request for the GBI to investigate on Sunday after officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of East Pine Street in Fitzgerald at about 1:10 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found four people had been shot. 

All the victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Paulk was pronounced dead at the hospital. All the victims are from Ben Hill County.
