Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Wednesday that she looks forward to former President Donald Trump’s return to the White House so the U.S. can begin “the largest deportation system in human history.”
The Georgia Republican made the comments during a House Oversight Committee hearing on how the Biden administration’s lax policies and unwillingness enforce immigration law have undermined U.S. border security.
“The Biden administration is guilty of the largest human trafficking operation in history,” said Greene.

Greene said she encountered the effects of this while recently traveling through airports flush with illegal immigrants, bound for various destinations on the taxpayers’ dime.
“We’re so sick of this. Everybody’s sick of this,” she said.
In response to a question from Greene, Thomas Homan, the former director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement service under Trump, said Trump’s policies slowed illegal immigration and saved lives by undercutting the smugglers and the drug cartels.
Biden, on the other hand, said Greene, is “killing people every single day while forcing the American taxpayer to pay for the human trafficking. That’s exactly what the Biden administration is doing.”
In her remarks, Greene referenced Jose and Isabel Lerma, both in their 60s, who died in November after a head-on collision caused by a suspected human smuggler ferrying five illegal immigrants through Texas.

The Lermas left behind five children.
“We have Americans dying every single day and all I hear from Democrats, every time we talk about the border, is they’re worried about migrant rights,” said Greene.
She noted that Democrats have championed open borders in spite of 10 million illegal border crossings under Biden, 1.9 million known “gotaways,” and 300 Americans dying daily from fentanyl made by China and trafficked by Mexican cartels.
“I’m looking forward to the next administration where we’ll have the largest deportation system that’s ever been witnessed in human history,” Greene added. “Because the American people deserve to have a safe country (and) safe borders.”
