Georgia Rep. MTG Says “National Divorce” May Be The Only Option America Has Left

As the divide in America continues to widen, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia on Wednesday suggested a “national divorce” may be the only solution America has left.

On X, Greene, a Georgia Republican, declared that America faces a “constitutional crisis,” as evident from three broad trends.

“The [Biden] admin(istration) is enabling a full scale border invasion and harboring illegal migrants. The courts are engaging in judicial tyranny. The government is politically weaponized against the people,” Greene wrote.

“Soon, national divorce may be our only option.”

Greene made the post a day after a majority of four Democratic justices on the Colorado Supreme Court tossed former President Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot.

But conservatives are familiar with the other topics she raised.

Such as the ongoing border crisis, where each day seems to bring a new record for thousands of illegal immigrants rushing across the border.

But there is also the FBI turning on pro-life activists, conservative parents at local school board meetings, and the alleged defendants at the scene of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S Capitol, as well as federal prosecutors doing President Joe Biden’s bidding by trying to jail former President Donald Trump on multiple charges.

Add all of that up, and one finds one word liberally sprinkled on Greene’s X feed in recent days: treason.

“We should be impeaching Joe Biden over the border. And I’m starting to think impeachment is not enough,” Greene told the website JustTheNews.com. “I think these people should be held accountable for treason over what is happening at our southern border.”

Greene added that because of the border crisis, treason “should be 100%” added to the charges the Republicans are considering for the impeachment inquiry into Biden’s alleged influence peddling, money laundering, and general corruption.

“But,” she said, “I think it’s a lower percentage of my Republican colleagues that would actually go there.”

Greene has already filed bills to impeach Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

But when the calendar flips to 2024, Greene signaled that it will be Republicans she’ll come after for being too soft on Biden and his lackeys.

“I’m mad at my own conference right now. I’m upset that our leadership and our new Speaker hasn’t done more to reflect what our voters want, because I think that’s what we should be doing, and actually just do the right thing. It’s easy to do the right thing. But no, we just don’t,” she told Just The News.

“Shame on Republicans. Shame on my own conference for not stepping up and doing everything within our power to stop it.  I’m purely disgusted with my own conference.”
