Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene promises a gut-wrenching hearing on Tuesday as she explores the harvesting of aborted baby parts for alleged scientific research.

In a post on X on Monday evening, the Georgia Republican highlighted her hearing, which was about the “Black Market of Baby Organ Harvesting.”

“Scalps were taken from humans aborted at the gestational age of 18 to 20 weeks of pregnancy at the Magee-Women’s Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Tissue Bank,” Greene wrote in her post.

“In 2020, researchers at the University of Pittsburgh published their work on the development of humanized mice and rats. The Center for Medical Progress exposed the University of Pittsburgh’s work to graft the full-thickness scalp of unborn babies onto the backs of rodents in a study funded by [Dr.] Anthony Fauci’s NIAID office under the NIH.”

“If Democrats want to continue talking about abortion, we will actually talk about it, in graphic detail,” Greene added in explaining the purpose of the hearing.

Greene had offered a similar post on Sunday.

Unhinged liberals on social media attacked Greene’s claims as “falsehoods,” “fearmongering,” “factually bankrupt,” a “blatant lie” and a “disinformation fiesta.”

However, Greene’s allegations against Pitt are not recent news.

For example, Fox News reported in August 2021 on a document released by the conservative group Judicial Watch that spelled out how President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services shipped at least $2.7 million to Pitt for the university’s “interest in harvesting fetal organs for a project known as the GenitoUrinary Development Molecular Anatomy Project, or GUDMAP.”

Pitt’s application detailed that the school wanted to “develop a pipeline” to acquire and distribute human samples of the urinary and genital organs for infants between 6 and 42 weeks of gestation.

In another part of its application, Ptt told the feds that “labor induction” was the “procedure that will be used to obtain the tissue.”

In a follow-up story that same month, three doctors who reviewed Pitt’s documents for Fox News said the language in the grant applications signaled that the school wanted living specimens.

“The baby’s going to have to be either born alive or be killed immediately prior to delivery,” Dr. Kathi Aultman, an ob-gyn who previously performed abortions but later opposed the procedure, told Fox News at the time.

Last December, the Christian Post reported that the HHS inspector general’s office was investigating Pitt for its research practices regarding fetal tissue.

That was reported months after NPR reported that a Washington, D.C.-based law firm, hired and funded by Pitt, reviewed its usage of fetal specimens in medical research and found that the school was “fully compliant with federal and state regulatory requirements.”
