A horrifying incident in Georgia has led to murder charges against a mother and two other individuals following the death of a 3-month-old infant.
Police were called to a motel in Richmond County on Tuesday, where they discovered the infant, Josiah Noel Seright, wrapped in a wet blanket inside a car seat positioned next to an air conditioning unit.
The baby was rushed to Wellstar MCG Health for treatment but was pronounced dead at 2:37 a.m., according to The Augusta Chronicle.

According to the outlet, the infant died from hypothermia and respiratory failure after being wrapped in a wet blanket and placed in a wet car seat in front of the motel’s air conditioning unit, which was set to a chilling 61 degrees.
The mother, September De’Asia Seright, 19, along with Diane Lamish Seright, 42, and Antonio Bennie Nash, 39, have all been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to children.
The three suspects are currently being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center, according to the outlet.
