ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A 42-year-old Georgia man has been arrested after a crash that happened around 8:40 am on Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck hauling a 53-foot trailer loaded with frozen food products was traveling south on Interstate 75.
Troopers say near mile marker 403, the semi traveled off the roadway, to the left median shoulder, and through the guardrail.

The semi then overturned in the median, and its trailer entered the northbound travel lanes of
Interstate 75, where its trailer collided with a U-Haul box truck, which was northbound at the time.
The driver and passenger of the U-Haul were treated on the scene with minor injuries.
The inside and center northbound lanes of Interstate 75 were closed during the recovery efforts.
