Rowen, a young girl living with Aniridia, a condition affecting the development of her irises, recently experienced a dream come true thanks to the Sunshine Foundation. This incredible organization granted Rowen and her family a magical trip to Florida filled with unforgettable memories.
“Sunshine Foundation, we cannot thank you enough!” exclaimed Rowen’s mom. “From the early morning, at 7 am, she has been swimming at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village pool and going to Universal Studios (anything Harry Potter was her favorite!). We also enjoyed Discovery Cove and the American Girl bistro and store. Rowen said she would remember this forever! Sunshine Foundation made this happen, and it means the world to us. The Dream Village was so cool! We had late-night golf games, which was fun. We enjoyed swimming at the pool, which was a nice place to unwind after our busy days.

The Sunshine Foundation fulfills dreams for children facing chronic illnesses and disabilities, including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.
They offer experiences beyond the typical wish-granting organizations, focusing on children who may not qualify for those programs. Rowen’s dream was made possible by a generous grant from the DSF Charitable Foundation.
