Funeral services have been set for Tiru Chabba, the 45-year-old Greenville, South Carolina, resident killed during the mass shooting at Florida State University (FSU) last Thursday. The announcement was made today by his family.

The service for Chabba, a father of two, will be held at 10:00 a.m. this Friday, April 25th, at Mackey Funerals and Cremations, located at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC.

Chabba was working on the FSU campus in Tallahassee, Florida, last Thursday as an employee of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, a campus vendor.

According to authorities, 20-year-old FSU student Phoenix Ikner opened fire shortly before noon. The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of Chabba and one other person, with six others sustaining injuries.

The Chabba family is represented by attorneys Jim Bannister and Bakari Sellers, a noted national civil rights attorney from The Strom Law Firm.
