TAMPA, FL. – Beginning this morning at 9am, all travel lanes on North 22nd Street will be closed between East Emma and East Genessee Streets as the Tampa Water Department returns to complete repairs on two water main breaks.
A previously scheduled attempt to complete this work was interrupted by weather. Barricades and signs will be set up in the area to assist with traffic flow.
Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.
Completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Thursday, July 15. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
“The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone’s patience during this time,” said Tampa Water Department in a statement.
