POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Derondell Tirrell Butler, 50, was apprehended by Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Thursday, September 12th. Butler was wanted in Miami-Dade County on serious charges including 2nd-degree murder with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
Acting on a tip, deputies located Butler at a residence in Poinciana. He surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.

Butler is currently being held in the Polk County Jail and will be transferred to Miami-Dade County to face the charges against him.
