Hurricane Helene Update: A Major Threat To Florida’s Big Bend

TAMPA, Fla. – The City of Tampa is offering free laundry assistance to residents impacted by Hurricane Helene. A “Wash Zone” will be set up at 5235 South Dale Mabry Highway on Tuesday, October 1st, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This service is specifically for those whose homes were flooded and are unable to wash their clothes.

The city is partnering with the local non-profit Current Initiatives to provide this much-needed relief. For information on future laundry assistance or other storm-related resources, residents can visit tampa.gov/hurricane.
