TAMPA, Fla. – A 66-year-old Seffner man died after his SUV collided with a stopped tow truck on the I-75 exit ramp to Fowler Avenue on Friday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Seffner man was driving a Nissan SUV northbound on the exit ramp when he entered the outside shoulder for unknown reasons and struck a flatbed tow truck.
The tow truck, operated by a 25-year-old Plant City man, was stopped on the northbound shoulder of the exit ramp at the time of the collision.

The Seffner man was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The tow truck driver was not injured in the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
