A deadly shooting unfolded early Saturday morning in Florence, Kentucky, leaving four people dead.

According to Florence Police, officers responded to a residence around 2:50 am after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a horrific scene – seven people had been shot inside the home.

Tragically, four of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining three victims were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their current condition is unknown.

Police have not yet identified the victims or the suspect. However, they confirm the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle after the shooting. Following a brief pursuit, the suspect died after a crash.

Florence Police are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting. The identities of those involved and details regarding the chase and crash are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.

This tragedy has left the Florence community in shock. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
