Former President Donald Trump’s name has been attached to skyscrapers and hotels around the world. Now, the man liberals most love to hate has another building named for him.
Earlier this month, officials unveiled the new branding on their courthouse.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the facility is now known as the Donald J. Trump Justice Complex.
Located in Yerington, Nevada, the 9-year-old center includes the local sheriff’s office, jail, the Third Judicial District Court, and the Walker River Justice Court.
A dedication ceremony was held on Feb. 5. About 50 people attended.
County commissioners had approved the name change back in August, according to the Review-Journal. That occurred after a plan to rename a local highway after Trump fell through. The vote for the Trump Justice Complex was 3-2.
It seems commissioners found it too big a hassle to force people to change their addresses to accommodate the renamed road.
As The Free Press recently reported, a state lawmaker in Wyoming has proposed renaming a highway for the 45th president. A similar move was proposed in Florida last year. Part of a state highway in Oklahoma has already been dedicated to Trump.
In Nevada, the former president has his brand attached to the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Yerington sits about 370 miles northwest of Las Vegas.
