Tallahassee, Fla — The Florida Commission on the Status of Women will announce the ten finalists for the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame on Thursday, August 13 at 9 a.m.
Following the announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis will then select up to three of the finalists to be the 2020 inductees, honoring women who, through their works and lives, have made significant contributions to the improvement of life for women and for all citizens of the state of Florida. The inductees will be announced and honored at a formal ceremony held in November (date and details TBA).
When: Thursday, August 13, 2020, 9:00 a.m. EST
