The Florida Lottery has announced that Gerry Collins of Port Charlotte has claimed a $5 million top prize from THE PERFECT GIFT Scratch-Off game. Collins claimed her winnings at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office and chose to receive the prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,989,062.00.
Collins purchased her winning ticket from Publix, located at 24051 Peachland Boulevard in Port Charlotte. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

THE PERFECT GIFT Scratch-Off game is a $20 ticket offering more than $178 million in total cash prizes, including four top prizes of $5 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.79.
The Florida Lottery emphasizes the role of Scratch-Off games as a significant part of its portfolio. These games accounted for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in the fiscal year 2023-2024.
Since their inception, Scratch-Off games have awarded over $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated more than $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
