Nubia Fagot, 62, of Hialeah, has claimed a $5 million top prize from the Florida Lottery’s $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH Scratch-Off game. Fagot claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Miami District Office and chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,262,138.00.
Fagot purchased her winning ticket from the Beacon Service Station, located at 8399 NW 12th Street in Doral. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH Scratch-Off game, priced at $20, offers players the chance to win up to $5 million instantly. The game features over $239.6 million in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $5 million, with overall odds of winning at 1-in-2.90.
Scratch-off games are a significant part of the Florida Lottery’s game offerings, accounting for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
Since their inception, Scratch-Off games have awarded more than $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated over $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
