A Florida woman became a multi-millionaire after a stop at a local convenience store turned out to be a huge winner.
The Florida Lottery announced that Susan Fitton, 64, of Boca Raton, claimed two $2 million MEGA MILLIONS® with Megaplier prizes at the West Palm Beach District Office from the drawing held on September 14, 2021.
The winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball.
Fitton purchased the tickets at Prip Mart, located at 299 West Camino Real in Boca Raton. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the two $2 million winning MEGA MILLIONS with Megaplier tickets.
Since joining MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $761 million for education, and has awarded more than $772 million in prizes to 60 million winners.
The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held Tuesday, September 28, at 11:00 p.m. ET with an estimated $22 million jackpot.
