The Florida Lottery announced Thursday that Vanessa Tirado-Gutierrez, 53, of DeFuniak Springs, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Tirado-Gutierrez purchased her winning ticket from Highway 83 General Store at 4483 Highway 83 North in DeFuniak Springs.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
