A Florida woman has filed suit against Russian president Vladimir Putin, and wants him ousted over fears of nuclear war.
According to court documents, 69-year-old Brenda C. Armstead, says she has feared nuclear war since she was 8-years-old and recent news articles about Russia’s attack on Ukraine have caused her “fear to spike”.
On February 27, 20222, Putin raised its nuclear forces to a “special regime of combat duty” or high alert.
“He is right now threatening a nuclear escalation,” said former DIA intelligence officer Rebekah Koffler said at the time. “This a veiled threat – or maybe such a veiled threat – he just met with his chief of general staff and minister of defense. He is escalating the conflict into the nuclear domain in order to de-escalate – that is topple Kyiv’s regime quickly.”
In her lawsuit, Armstead says, “Putin probably would not have acted in the aggressive manner of war, if Putin had not been informed that the U.S. was neutral on the issue.”
Armstead adds in the lawsuit, that she suspects former President George W. Bush and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush are the leaks to Putin.
Armstead references new articles from that day in her lawsuit and quests to out Putin from his seat.
The lawsuit was filed in Hillsborough County Court, but Armstead says she “won’t be stopped”. If Hillsborough County Courts fail to take action and oust the Russian President, Armstead says she will file suit in every Florida county court if needed.
“Basis for this court to go forward giving it International Court Jurisdiction to save Earth from Nuclear War with Russia,” Armstead wrote in the court filing.
Armstead is a resident of Daytona Beach, Florida.
