A Florida woman has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for wire fraud related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
As part of the judgment, Passion Lajodia Jackson, 31, Ocala, was ordered to forfeit $20,132, which represents the proceeds obtained from the offense. Jackson had pleaded guilty on September 11, 2023.
