A 49-year-old woman from Port Charlotte, Florida, died at Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock Island at approximately 3:41 p.m. Monday after a bayside incident off Cudjoe Key, Florida.
Jennifer McLalin was reportedly snorkeling when she was found near the bottom by fellow snorkelers and returned to the rental boat.
Foul play is not believed to be a factor in the incident. Deputies say that autopsy results are pending.
