CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police economic crimes detectives have charged a 44-year-old woman with duping an elderly man with dementia into signing over two properties to her son.
Jennifer Geiger, 44, of Clearwater, was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Pinellas County Jail. She was charged with the exploitation of an elderly person or disabled adult.
The victim is a man in his 90s who has dementia. Geiger was the property manager at the condominium complex in Largo where the victim owned two units.
She befriended him and duped him into signing over ownership of the two condo units to her son.
The two properties were valued at $400,000.
