An 18-year-old Florida woman has been charged with second-degree attempted murder after intentionally running over a bicyclist on Monday.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – An 18-year-old Florida woman has been charged with second-degree attempted murder after intentionally running over a bicyclist on Monday.

According to police, at 8:34 a.m. on Monday, Breasia Marie Niblack, 18, was driving a vehicle and intentionally hit a woman who was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of Emerson Avenue South in St. Petersburg.

Investigators say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and that the two women were known to each other.

According to police,  at 8:34 a.m., Breasia Marie Niblack, 18, was driving a vehicle and intentionally hit a woman who was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of Emerson Avenue South in St. Petersburg.

Niblack was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the 2nd degree.
