Florida Woman Arrested After Fire Bombing Ex-Boyfriend’s Home, With His Younger Brother Inside

A Florida woman was arrested after throwing a Molotov cocktail through the window of her ex-boyfriend’s house while the man’s teenage brother was inside on Monday.

Gaelle Simeus, 22, was booked into the Lee County Jail on Wednesday and is facing several felony charges, including arson, property damage, and a weapon offense.

14-year-old Madochee Derilus, was home alone when he heard a bedroom window shatter and noticed the home filling with smoke, reported WBBH-TV.

The boy told investigators that a Molotov cocktail was thrown through the window of the home.

Investigators said the window to the bedroom where the fire happened had been smashed with a rock, according to WBBH.

According to the outlet, Simeus is the ex-girlfriend of the boy’s older brother, the family noted, saying Simeus was allegedly targeting him.
