A 19-year-old Florida woman was arrested Thursday after threatening a man and child with a knife. There were no life-threatening injuries reported, according to deputies.
Investigators say 19-year-old Bricia Maylin Moreno-Deleon was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery, and child neglect.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home on Maloney Avenue at approximately 6:15 p.m. regarding a domestic issue. The suspect and the victims — a 42-year-old male and his 6-year-old son — were present.

The victim stated he attempted to leave with his son when Moreno-Deleon bit him on the back. He then locked himself and the juvenile in a vehicle outside the residence.
According to deputies, Moreno-Deleon grabbed a knife, attempted to get inside the van, and stated she would kill them both.
She was booked into the Monroe County Jail on a $165,000 bond.
