A Florida woman wanted in connection with a barrage of bullets in the parking lot of a Mary Esther Sports Lounge last week is now in custody on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felony violation of probation.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office had a warrant for 32-year-old Maricia Knox of Mary Esther in connection with multiple shots fired at an individual in a car in the parking lot of Cash’s Sports Page Lounge on Miracle Strip Parkway on May 16th.
Co-defendant Chris Seymore was arrested earlier this week on a charge of aggravated assault.
In the early morning hours, deputies were called to Cash’s Sports Page Lounge on Miracle Strip Parkway for multiple shots fired on Monday, May 16.
A victim reported he was leaving the area when the vehicle he was driving was hit by bullets, causing disabling damage.
The vehicle had at least five bullet impacts, and 29 spent casings were found in the parking lot of Cash’s. Deputies located 21-year-old Christian Seymore on Burnette Avenue and took him into custody.
Officers with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department spotted Knox Thursday night in a vehicle parked at the Whiskey Barn on Miracle Strip Parkway.
Deputies say that Knox tried to flee but was quickly apprehended.
