Florida Troopers Searching For Woman Who Crashed SUV In St. Petersburg, Fled On Foot

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for a woman who violently crashed on Wednesday and fled the scene on foot.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for a woman who violently crashed on Wednesday and fled the scene on foot.

According to troopers, around 6:35 am on Thursday, the woman was traveling southbound in a SUV through the parking lot 4346 66th Street North erratically.

Troopers say she drove over a raised concrete curb, struck a light pole, ran over another concrete curb, struck an electric control box, and finally, a stop sign.

The vehicle then continued until colliding with a large concrete support beam attached to the building.  Following the collision, a female driver fled the scene on foot.
