LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. – A 55-year-old Hudson man suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle that fled the scene of the crash on Saturday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 10:17 pm on Saturday a vehicle traveling westbound on Lake Patience Road, west of American Plaza Boulevard, collided with the Hudson man while he was riding a bicycle.
Following the collision, troopers say the vehicle fled the scene of the crash.
Troopers located a passenger side mirror left at the crash scene which returned to a gray Nissan Altima.
