POLK COUNTY, Fla – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for a man Who killed a Lakeland motorcyclist while driving a stolen van on I-4 in March 2023.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, on March 9, 2023, around 9:26 pm, a van was traveling westbound on I-4 near Milepost 53.
Troopers say the driver failed to stop for other stopped traffic and collided with the rear of a motorcycle and a car in successive order.
Upon impact, the car was propelled forward and collided with the rear of the SUV.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 32-year-old Lakeland man, suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
Following the crash, the driver of the man, identified as 22-year-old Jesus Bravo-Bravo, fled the scene on foot. Troopers say the 2019 Dodge Caravan, Bravo-Bravo was driving, was stolen from Auburndale before the crash.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bravo-Bravo is asked to call *FHP or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
