Florida Highway Patrol Troopers and Hillsborough Sheriff’s Deputies teamed together on Sunday following an anonymous tip from the public to locate and arrest Peter McClarin following a brief foot pursuit. 

McClarin was arrested at 12:30 PM today, April 23rd, for multiple felony charges pertaining to his involvement in the April 11th road rage incident at a residence in the 9800 block of Six Mile Creek Road. 

On Monday, April 17, troopers arrested Shaniah Faith Cofield in the attack.

Investigators say just after 5:00 PM on April 11th were involved in a minor crash with a 31-year-old Brandon woman at US-301 and Martin Luther King Boulevard. 

In the video, the pair can be seen attacking the victim’s 2019 Chevy sedan with a firearm after initially shooting at the victim.



“The Florida Highway Patrol extends their appreciation to the public, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office, and the Tampa Police Department for their assistance over the past two weeks to bring McClarin to justice,” said FHP.
