A Florida trio landed behind bars after a Hoem Depot heist headed south.
Thursday night, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a theft at a Fort Myers Home Depot located at 14655 South Tamiami Trail.
Two Hispanic males were seen walking out of the store with large boxes and tools. They fled the parking lot in a UHaul van and were immediately stopped by deputies. During the stop, deputies could see large boxes containing furniture and tools. Several occupants were located inside the van.
Home Depot loss prevention was able to positively identify their merchandise, which included an A/C unit, laser kits, and patio furniture.

Luis Lemus and Jose Rosario were charged with grand theft. Lemus was also booked on a warrant from Monroe County.
A female in the van, Cecilia Castro was booked on a warrant from Osceola County.
