We continue to watch the slow-motion erasure of women’s sports in real-time.
Last week, Hailey Davidson, a biological male who identifies as a woman, moved closer to becoming a literal card-carrying member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
Davidson won the NXXT Women’s Classic golf tournament, held at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, which pushed Davidson to the pinnacle of the tour’s leaderboard.
According to the New York Post, NXXT Golf is a professional women’s golf tour that qualifies lady golfers for entry into LPGA tournaments.

The NXXT has launched more than 600 women into the LPGA since the developmental tour began in 1999.
Davidson, a Scot who now lives in Kissimmee, would surely earn entry into the LPGA as the leader of NXXT. That would make Davidson the first transgender pro on the women’s tour.
The post reported that Davidson began transitioning nearly a decade ago, and had full gender reassignment surgery in 2021.
Champion swimmer Riley Gaines, who has become a conservative activist in opposing transgenders’ encroachment into women’s athletics, wondered on X where the feminists are.
She posted a picture of Davidson accepting the winning trophy last week while flanked by two women runners-up. “A man stands atop the podium while the women smile and applaud. The ultimate patriarchy that the ‘feminists’ fully embrace,” Gaines said.
Former PGA champ John Daly commented, “I would’ve won 100 tournaments if I threw on a skirt and called myself a tranny. That dude is as feminine as a Ford F-150.”

Yet despite the criticism, the LPGA dumped a rule proclaiming its players had to be “female at birth” back in 2010.”
Fox News reported on Sunday that Davidson denounced the “misinformed hatred” of critics who think he has physical advantage over biological women.
“It’s crazy the amount of misinformed hatred I have received so far today,” Davidson posted on social media. “All of these people (think) I hit it 300 yards or even 280 yards. How about 250 on a good day.”
“Most importantly though, thank you to absolutely everyone who has supported me from my fellow competitors to all of you that I may or may not have had the chance to meet yet,” Davidson added.
“Thank you all for helping me wade through any hate and making me feel loved.”

As an aside to continue her cause, Gaines on Saturday posted a video of Henry Hanlon, a biological male basketball player who identifies as a girl.
Gaines noted that Hanlon scored 26 points in a recent girls’ high school game, the third consecutive time when Hanlon’s scored at least a third of the team’s points. “The emperor wears no clothes,” Gaines said.
