BARTOW, Fla. – On Friday, a verbal altercation occurred at a Bartow High School basketball game between a group of juveniles.
Police say, after the game, the students went to the Bartow McDonald’s. One of the students involved in the initial argument was approached by the mother of the other juvenile, Liquindella Clark, who is employed as a teacher by the Polk County School Board.
Clark aggressively approached the juvenile who had been arguing with her child.
According to investigators, she began threatening the child and was removed from the lobby area by an unknown male who directed Clark to the parking lot area.
Clark waited in the parking lot until the group of juveniles exited the restaurant, at which point a physical altercation occurred between the group of juveniles and Ms. Clark.
During the altercation, Clark struck one juvenile in the face and removed her wig, and struck a second child in her head.
Law Enforcement was notified, and Clark was arrested at the scene. She is charged with Child Abuse (F3).
