Florida Task Force 3, consisting of specialized personnel from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Tampa Fire Rescue, and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, has returned after a four-day mission providing critical assistance to communities impacted by Hurricane Debby.
Deploying on August 5th, the Task Force provided vital support to North Central Florida and South Manatee County, utilizing swift water assets and search & rescue teams.

During their mission, they covered over 1,783 square miles, assisted in 44 patient encounters (including welfare checks and emergency rescues), and conducted damage assessments at 1,800 locations.
This highly skilled Task Force, equipped with physicians, engineers, K9 units, and a fleet of 17 vehicles and water vessels, demonstrated their expertise in both land and water rescue operations.
