HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla.- The Task Force 3 team, returned home Saturday from its mission of assisting with floodwater rescues of residents affected by the flooding from Hurricane Sally.
Crews completed their mission Friday evening and made preparations to return to the Tampa Bay Area following the rescue operations in the Florida panhandle in the aftermath of Hurricane Sally.
Crews returned on Saturday to the Hillsborough County Public Safety Operations Complex (PSOC) at 9450 East Columbus Drive around 7:30 p.m.
Florida Task Force 3 comprises Firefighters and EMS personnel from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, and Tampa Fire Rescue.
