Florida state Rep. Randy Fine wants the Florida Department of Health to investigate a Miami dentist who prayed for the annihilation of the “tyrannical Jews.”
Fine, a Brevard County Republican and House Health and Human Services Committee chairman, dispatched a letter to the department on Monday demanding the suspension of Dr. Fadi Kablawi’s dentistry license.
At the Miami mosque where he serves as an imam, Kablawi reportedly issued a prayer fermented with bloodlust for Jews.

According to PJ Media, the dentist said in his prayer, “Oh Allah, support our oppressed brothers in Palestine. Oh Allah, annihilate the tyrannical Jews. Oh Allah, annihilate them, for they are no match for You. Oh Allah, annihilate the brothers of apes and pigs. Oh Allah, demonstrate upon them the wonders of Your might. Oh Allah, cut off their seed. Oh Allah, break up their fellowship. Oh Allah, disperse them and rend them asunder.”
The prayer was broadcast over Facebook on April 26.
In his letter to Dr. Jose R. Mellado, chairman of the Florida Board of Dentistry, Fine noted that Kanlawi’s Jewish patients have a right to be afraid of their own healthcare provider.
“North Miami, where dentist Kablawi practices, contains many Jewish residents, none of whom could be considered safe in Imam Kablawi’s dental chair, where he could personally implement what he is asking Allah to do,” Fine wrote to Mellado, Newsweek reported.
“Practicing medicine in Florida is a privilege — not a right — and as the Chairman of the Florida House Health and Human Services Committee, I call on you to immediately suspend Dr. Kablawi’s license and commence a thorough investigation into his practice. The lives of some of Florida’s Jews could hang in the balance.”
In a separate interview with Newsweek, Fine, who is Jewish, noted, “I’ve already heard from folks who have said, ‘Wait, this guy’s my dentist,’ and now they’re scared. He shouldn’t be practicing medicine. This is a clear violation of the do-no-harm principle.”
In response to the letter, Dr. Mellado replied to Fine, “I am deeply concerned with this inflammatory rhetoric and the potential danger it poses to Jewish and other ethnic groups.”
“It is our utmost responsibility to protect and ensure the safety of the citizens in Florida. Please, review and act accordingly to protect the patients and the public in Florida,” he added.
