Following the Iowas Caucus being called for former President Donald Trump on Monday, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds said it’s over.
“The people of Iowa sent a responding message in their overwhelming support of President Donald J. Trump in tonight’s caucus. It’s been crystal clear: Republican voters want Trump as our nominee, and Americans in general want another Trump term. It’s over. Trump is our pick!” said Donalds on X.
Former President Donald Trump won a record-breaking Iowa caucus on Monday, leaving his opponents far behind, confirming his hold on the Republican presidential nomination for 2024.

In the lowest-turnout caucus in a quarter-century, with only 14% of Iowa Republicans voting, participants braved life-threatening cold and hazardous driving conditions to gather in hundreds of schools, churches, and community centers across the state.
But those who went out delivered a roughly 30-point win for Trump, breaking the record for a contested Iowa Republican caucus with a margin of victory greater than Bob Dole’s nearly 13-point victory in 1988.
Trump received 51% of the vote, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis won slightly more than 21%, edging former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley by 19%.
After repeatedly vowing vengeance against his political opponents in recent months, Trump’s victory speech conveyed a message of unity.
“We want to come together, whether it’s Republican or Democrat or liberal or conservative,” Trump said. “We’re going to come together. It’s going to happen soon.”
