Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) visited areas ravaged by Hurricane Milton in Southwest Florida today to assess the extent of the flooding and devastation personally.
Following his tour, Donalds joined State Representative Lauren Melo and a coalition of local leaders from across the region, including representatives from Cape Coral, Collier County, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Immokalee, Lee County, Marco Island, Naples, Sanibel, and key utility providers like Florida Power and Light and the Lee County Electric Cooperative.
The meeting focused on coordinating immediate next steps in the wake of the hurricane.
Congressman Donald’s office is actively working with federal, state, and local partners to streamline Hurricane Milton relief efforts.
