OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic incident in Poinciana has led to the arrest of a mother accused of fatally harming her teenage daughter.
On November 20th, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a local residence. Upon arrival, they found a chaotic scene where 33-year-old Kelsey Glover had allegedly held her 14-year-old daughter, Giselle Glover, underwater in a bathroom.

Witnesses who attempted to intervene were allegedly attacked by Glover. Deputies apprehended her as she was threatening another individual with a hammer.
Giselle was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries. The medical examiner’s office will determine the exact cause of death.
Kelsey Glover has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.

Sheriff Lopez expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a “dark day.” While there were no prior domestic abuse reports involving the family, Lopez noted a previous incident where Glover had battered the child’s father.
