A Florida man and woman were arrested after being found passed out from a drug binge in a pickup truck with a child in the vehicle.
According to police, Brandy Carrico, 39, and Nicholas Heinkel, 32, were found unconscious in a Ford pickup truck with a 4-year-old child unrestrained in the backseat of the truck.
Police say the pair woke up with “bloodshot eyes and slurred speech”.
Investigators say that the couple admitted to drinking liquor, snorting cocaine, fentanyl, and driving with the 4-year-old child.
According to police, the couple parked their car at a gas station parking lot on 34th Street, in St. Petersburg where they were awoken by authorities.
Carrico and Heinkel both face charges for neglect of a child without great bodily harm and Carrico faces an additional charge for driving under the influence.
