LAKELAND, Fla. – Empress Moore, 6, has been located and is safe, according to the Lakeland Police Department.
“Just a short while ago, Empress Moore has been located safe! Thank you to everyone who assisted in getting her information out and was looking for her!” said the Lakeland Police Department.
PREVIOUS REPORT: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert for 6-year-old Empress Moore, last seen in Lakeland, Florida.
Empress is described as a black female, 4 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 55 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a puffy blue jacket, blue leggings, and pink sparkly boots.
She was last seen in the area of the 800 block of North New York Avenue in Lakeland.

Empress was initially reported missing by her mother after she wandered away from their home in the 800 block of North New York Avenue around 8:30 PM on Sunday, January 26th. A search led to her discovery at a friend’s residence in the 200 block of Pear Street, where she was returned home.
However, just hours later, at 10:55 PM, Empress ran away again, prompting a renewed search effort by the Lakeland Police Department. Officers and detectives scoured the area, door to door, with the assistance of bloodhounds, helicopters, reverse 911 calls, and a social media alert.
Anyone with information about Empress Moore’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lakeland Police Department at 863-834-6900 or call 911 immediately.
The Lakeland Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for Empress and to report any information that may help locate her.
