Tragically, the search for 7-year-old Emerson Felix has ended in heartbreak. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that deputies found Emerson deceased in a body of water near his home, where he was initially reported missing.
The circumstances surrounding Emerson’s death are still under investigation.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office expressed their deep sorrow and offered condolences to Emerson’s family, friends, and community.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating 7-year-old Emerson Felix, who went missing from the 1700 block of Flintshire Street in Orlando.
Emerson is described as a Black male, 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 85 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light cream-colored shirt with a black logo, light blue shorts with a dark stripe, and dark-colored slides.

Anyone with information about Emerson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 407-836-4357 or call 911.
