A 5-year-old boy at the center of a statewide missing child alert has been found safe, authorities said.

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been activated for 5-year-old Cameron Dixon. He is a black male, 3 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 60 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Cameron was last seen in the area of the 100 block of Northeast 11th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.

Cameron may be in the company of Leon Dixon, a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

They could be traveling in a gray 2019 Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plate AJ51GI. The car might have a noticeable dent on the rear passenger door.
