A 57-year-old South Carolina man has been arrested and charged with battery after allegedly grabbing a female employee in a McDonald’s restroom.
William Barney Weems of Columbia was taken into custody on Tuesday following an incident at the Tavernier McDonald’s.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the restaurant at approximately 5:50 p.m. after a female employee reported that a man crawled from under a stall while she was cleaning the women’s restroom and grabbed her breasts.

Weems reportedly admitted to intentionally grabbing the woman. There were no reported injuries. He was subsequently arrested and transported to jail.
