Edward Vincenzo Camacho, a 20-year-old from Winter Garden, Florida, apparently decided a late-night snack run wasn’t exciting enough. Instead, he opted for a more unconventional approach – using his SUV as a battering ram to break into a gun store.

According to the plea agreement from the Department of Justice, Camacho backed his vehicle into the storefront, smashed through the door and wall, and then helped himself to six firearms.

His joyride was short-lived, however, as law enforcement apprehended him less than two hours later after a brief foot chase (during which he thoughtfully discarded some of the evidence).

Camacho has now pleaded guilty to theft of a firearm from a federal firearms licensee, a charge that could land him in federal prison for up to 10 years. It seems his midnight shopping spree will have a hefty price tag after all.
