A Florida man is $5 million richer after hitting the jackpot on a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket. Nathaniel Wrigley, 32, of Miami claimed the top prize from the $20 GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Wrigley opted to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,960,000.00. He purchased his winning ticket from Dollar Plus, located at 13045 Southwest 88th Street in Miami. The retailer received a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky scratch-off.

The game also boasts over 33,000 prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000. With odds of winning at 1-in-2.65, it’s no wonder this game is a popular choice among lottery players.

Scratch-off games continue to be a significant revenue generator for the Florida Lottery, accounting for approximately 74% of ticket sales in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
