Deputies in Florida have launched a homicide investigation after a man’s body was discovered in a burning shed.

21-year-old Jaylen McIntyre was found dead in a Seminole County shed after reports of a shed fire in April.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office says that a neighbor called 911 for a shed that was on fire.

Officials say the flames were extinguished by Seminole County Fire Rescue crews, who informed authorities there was a dead body in the structure.

Deputies launched a death investigation and noted that the back door of the residence on the same property as the shed was open.

This is being investigated as a first-degree premeditated homicide, but no other details, including any information about a possible suspect, have been released.

If you know anything about this case, call the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
