A Florida man is celebrating a $2 million win in the Florida Lottery’s JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY game.
Appolon Jean, 65, Pompano Beach, claimed the jackpot from the July 26th drawing. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $1,223,575.20.
Jean purchased his winning Quick Pick ticket at a Publix supermarket on North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. The store will receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky ticket.

The JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY game gives players three chances to win with each $1 ticket. Players choose their own numbers for the first set, while the second set is randomly generated. Jackpots start at $250,000 and can roll over to $2 million.
Since its launch in 2019, JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY has awarded over $155 million in prizes and created 67 jackpot winners. The game has also generated significant revenue for Florida’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
