POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man is wanted by Polk County Sheriff’s Office after the man ran from deputies in a stolen car and was caught on camera dumping drugs in a dumpster.
On March 3rd at about 4:46 pm, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies got behind a stolen blue Nissan Sentra on State Road 60 in Mulberry.
Inside the vehicle was 28-year-old Mario Herr, Jr.
“Mario fled from the scene, and due to the totality of circumstances, deputies did not pursue him,” said PCSO.

Deputies were notified a short time later that a witness called to report a suspicious man in a blue Nissan Sentra had driven up to a dumpster, dumped some items, and quickly left.
When deputies arrived and checked the dumpster, they found bags of cocaine and marijuana.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Mario Herr, Jr on charges of Trafficking in Cocaine, Fleeing to Elude, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges are expected.
“We’ve got the dope that was tossed in the dumpster. Now we want the dope who dangerously fled from deputies,” said PCSO.

Detectives believe Mario was heading to Miami.
